Reservoir Engineer

Member of IOR/EOR Team for study of water injection performance in operational fields and identification of new reservoirs for EOR.

Key Achievements:

Recommended workovers for water injection, oil and gas producing wells based on utilization of material balance techniques (MBAL) and pressure production data.

Assisted Finance in calculation of costs for IOR-EOR activities and updated annual incremental oil gains and reserve accretion using volumetric estimation and decline curve analysis.

Analyzed high pour-point and heavy oil reserves to identify appropriate technology for its production.

Well Site Geologist and Manager for two months in Drilling Operations Section.

Onsite Engineer for variety of open hole and cased hole wire line jobs including USIT and side wall coring.

Essar Oil Limited – India June 2010 – July 2010

Summer Intern

Key Achievements:

Utilized Fekete FAST CBM software to conduct history matching, production forecasting and sensitivity analysis on coal bed methane wells focused on reducing uncertainty of input data.

ACADEMIC PROJECT & RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

The University of Texas at Austin – Austin, TX August 2014 - Present

Graduate Research Assistant – Graduate Advisor Dr. Hugh Daigle

Conduct research on DOE Project “Mechanisms for Methane Transport and Hydrate Accumulation in Coarse-Grained Reservoirs.”

Investigate Pore Size Distribution and Methane Equilibrium Conditions at Walker Ridge Block 313 in Northern Gulf of Mexico; construct correlations for prediction of relaxation time and pore size distributions from gamma ray and density log data.

Predict thickness and depth of Liquid + Gas + Hydrate zone in wells utilizing pore size distributions in conjunction with methane solubility curves.
