Researched 28 wells in Horn Mountain, King and Marlin fields to help the drilling engineers maintain their oil and gas drilling operations o Developed offset well diagrams to represent NPT (non-productive time of well), LOT (leak off tests) and casing set depth points o Calculated the areas average surface well location departure distances, max well inclinations, days-vs-depth, mud weight-vs-depth and cost-vs-depth to help the drilling engineers to easily review area capabilities therefore reducing non-productive time/increasing safety

Cycled offshore to learn about the daily operations of the Transocean Deepwater Champion drill ship as well as attended morning operations conference calls and all departmental meetings to learn the importance of meeting development

Developed and implemented a procurement/tracking spread sheet for 900 valves and controllers to make sure that the refurbishing of a gas production platform was economically friendly

Documented the removal of 6 caissons and platforms out of Matagorda Island on a jack up rig

Witnessed the importance of job safety analysis forms when placed in situations where thinking quickly was a necessity, such as changing out a methanol pump in a platform leg in a highly flammable area with possible metal to metal spark ability
