-Made the connections between the electronics, and the linkages between the control surfaces to the servos.
Free Wheelchair Mission: June 2013 – August 2013
-Worked on a team to develop a low cost, reliable and durable electric drive system that can be easily mounted and maintained on an existing wheelchair.
-Decided the type of motor that fitted the most to the operating environment- high-temperature, dusty, off-road.
-Created several tests to assess the abilities of the selected motor.
Robotic Vehicle Competition: April 2013 – June 2013
-Worked on a team to build a robotic vehicle, and competed on being the fastest to move to a designated point.
-Followed the dimensions from the CAD model and fabricated the robotic vehicle using hand tools and machines.
-Participated in cross-functional meetings to make sure every component of the robotic vehicle fitted with each other.
