District Vice President Commercial Banking (2001 – 2014)
Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President, I led Commercial Banking business units in
Winnipeg Manitoba, St.Catharines Ontario, Windsor Ontario and London Ontario.
I was responsible for financial and operational results for the business units for the market regions serviced. Role responsibility included meeting sales objectives and exceeding financial targets, developing and motivating teams to deliver exceptional service.
Successes:
On 4 different occasions I was promoted to underperforming and mature markets where I developed and implemented strategic marketing strategies which resulted in market share growth and increased profitability. In one of the markets the client portfolio was doubled in 5 years and business volume was tripled in the same period.
Rapidly earned the reputation in multiple markets of having the ability to build lasting relationships and adding value to clients in a diverse array of industries.
In 2012 and 2013 achieved the best results in Canada for Commercial Banking in terms of new business developed in the automotive dealership segment. Loan volume growth exceeded $100MM.
