Scheduled for 28 days, but cracks found in the foundation of the main compressor make Mobil issue major work orders to be completed by the time the compressor was to be commissioned.

Cleaning all of their exchangers, performing mechanical installation and repair of all their vessels and drums.
At the same time, we sketched on preliminary and fabricated over 500 ISO’s and completed the installation in a timely manner in conjunction of our shut down schedule.

Compiled data on every exchanger in their facility to perform turn key mechanical work on each piece of their equipment on a daily basis.

VPS 4 Turnaround Star Enterprise (Project Manager)
Removal of 21 fin fan coolers and installation of new.
Retubing 11 coolers in place, 86 heat exchangers, push, pull, clean, head up and test.
Replacement of 4 heater stacks, repairs on all vessels and drums
Relocation of 7 pumps and installed associated foundations and 9% chrome piping.
Project estimated the project duration on 21 days, and established a bonus for every shift we go under, resulting in a bonus of $400,000 because we finished in 17 days.
. VPS 2 Turnaround Star Enterprise (Project Manager)
Unit was built in the 1930’s, and by far was the hardest project in my career.
Project consisted of 103 conventional pull exchanger, 6 furnaces to be completely retubed, new skin casing and hangers.
Every drum and vessel had to be wet mag and dye checked at every weld seam.
Relocation of 23 pumps foundations and related piping.
Two flare tips were changed out, and a total of 2600 wells made, with a total of 1800 to be stress relieved.
Asbestos at every vessel and the vacuum tower didn’t have proper access east to west and north to south.
Project scheduled for a 26 day period and completed our scope in 28 days with 60% extra work.
