Utilize my extensive experience in the Perishable Departments - Meat/ Seafood, Deli, Bakery and overall Grocery/ Center Store knowledge of the retail business to increase sales, reduce costs and make the next successful company a better place to work understanding and enhancing their processes. Over 39 years in Grocery Retail with eighteen of those years dedicated to large format stores in Northeast Ohio. December - Overall restructuring of retail store to create a new high volume business 2014 with measurable success. Turned all aisles opposite of original format to create a better customer flow thus increasing sales. Used all resources available and was very successful. Total process took 3 months from planning, execution and to final product.

- Total conversion of Meat Department food safety standards by coordinating the Ohio Department of Agriculture and Fligner's to be under total meat inspection with our on site Meat Inspectors. They are 100% compliant under Establishment # 1022

- HACCP Coordinator who wrote companies Blue Print Narrative and organized current HACCP book and created stores GMP and made sure it was followed according to Ohio State Meat Inspection Requirements.

-Starting from ground level to build business to a structured organized environment

-Brought many new products and services in to increase sales and create Points of Difference to separate us from the competition

-Developed current policies and procedures to create an atmosphere consistent with industry standards in the Grocery environment and to be Government compliant

-Overall sales increase for the past 7 years up average of 5.26% each prior year

-Reduced shrink and known loss through out store with measurable systems including meat yield cutting tests and cutting standards for profitability

-Brought total store to the next level including all perishables and non-perishable departments with a well merchandised shoppers flow while redesigning center store for a more fluid and profitable shoppers experience

-In charge of hiring, training, people development, purchasing on deals, pricing, advertising, writing ads, meat buying in volume with standards above industry.

-Redeveloped store ad with success and includes a web site www.FlignersMarket.com and television/ radio commercials. Write all ads weekly

- Applied for county grants with success to train 39 employees on ServSafe food handling. Bringing the store sanitation to the next level

- Coordinated the construction, layout, and purchasing of equipment for a new 4,500 square foot state of the art meat smoke house located 500 feet from store Called Great Lakes Smoked Meats.

Also included a warehouse to take advantage of pallet deals or deal buys as either dry goods or frozen meats and grocery.

-Converting Independent Giant Eagle to Corporate profile

-Former owners selling back to Giant Eagle, complete turnover will happen after August 2004
