Hired for Full Time position, 4 days after interview, and began working 2 days later. My goals

were made clear for me my first day. This Company was non-compliant with most DOH

Regulations in addition to, preparing for their first Joint Commission survey for accreditation,

3 weeks from my start date. I made many Policy and Procedure changes to meet DOH

standards. I met with JCOHA surveyor and created ALL the corrective actions, including: who

is responsible for oversight, what actions created, methodology behind these actions, how will

compliance be maintained, for all Company deficiencies. All this paperwork was submitted to

JCOHA and 3 hours after submission, I was fired.

2007 – 01/16/2015 Americare, Inc. Home Care – Licensed (LHCSA) Brooklyn, N. Y.

DIRECTOR OF PATIENT SERVICES (NURSING/CONTRACTS)

Under my leadership, this company went from servicing 150 patients with a few MLTC Contracts and progressed to a major Home Care Company, with over 2500 patients, currently being serviced, and more than 24 MLTC Contracts in addition to a large Private Pay client census. I am responsible for overseeing an ever changing Office Staff, both Clinical and Non-Clinical, and Field Nursing Staff, including many Fee For Service Nurses and a large Asian RN staff, all of whom I personally hired, specifically for one of our MLTC’s. With my oversight, Americare has passed 2 Joint Commission and Department of Health audits, without any violations of Regulations. Recently, I was given another Department to oversee: Adult Care Facilities. Knowledgeable in U.A.S.
