Managed the $10M capital equipment budget, capital request planning process, and payback/ROI detail.

This included all planning for the remote de-commission and local re-commission of the business processes in both locations. Transition included six product families that represent 200 sku’s, relocated and launched over the duration of six months.
Quoted $85M worth of new drivetrain business in last 16 months. Won $5M worth of new business in last 12 months.
Negotiated $500K in annual price increases, and $100K of warranty settlements in the company’s favor.
Secured the acquisition of $15M in annual sales for engine re-manufacturing operations.
Led the team that re-designed an existing engine re-manufacturing process in LCC for transition to US operations in two weeks. Developed all transition plans and start up cost scenarios.
Authored the transition services contract for engine re-manufacturing operations purchased in LCC and moved to the US.
DIRECTOR OF ENGINEERING
Produced the first commercially available continuously variable transmission product for bicycle applications. Engineering team of six, owned all product design responsibility and launched the assembly process, final test and inspection operations. 85% of the components were manufactured in LCC.
Two U.S. patents applied for: chain tension device and valve removal machine. All product models were developed in Pro Engineer 3D modeling system.
SENIOR PROCESS ENGINEER
Led 20 consecutive new product launches on time or early. All production part approvals on time or early. No late launches and no launch under containment.
Re-designed half of the existing automatic transmission assembly operations (approx 50K sq.ft.) using modern lean techniques and value stream maps to yield the highest production yield per sqft in the corporation.
