Responsibilities
•Manage site deployment for Medication Reconciliation. Serve as site analyst/subject matter expert.
•Manage identified functions and needs of clinicians, units, ancillary departments and other organizational units within hospital and region to facilitate communication regarding automated medical record system application processes
•Provide Tier II support and personalization to physicians
•Analyze problems and recommend solutions using effective communication skills with providers, department managers, units, and other related personnel
•Provide testing of application for proper interface
•Formulate solutions using effective communication skills with providers, department managers, units, and other related personnel
•Document internal procedures and recommend changes in procedures and workflow to fit organizational needs
•Direct workflow of system application to ensure timely access for clinicians and other staff

Accomplishments
During my work experience as an EHR Consultant, I: 1) Successfully enabled medical staff to smoothly transition to the use of Electronic Health Record system; 2) Provided effective classroom and one-on-one training for physicians and nurses for EHR implementations; 3)Successfully created training manuals and tools for clinical analysts and nurse educators; 4) Developed a working knowledge of hospital and ambulatory workflows for various disciplines; and 5) Mastered CPOE and clinical documentation, as it pertains to the use of the EHR.
Skills Used
The skills in which I demonstrated during this work experience was: 1) effective oral and written communication;
2) the ability to train various learning styles; 3) the use of various EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, MedHost, PatientKeeper, Pulse); 4) the use of Microsoft office software, to include: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint, Visio, Project, Outlook; and 5) the ability to lead a team;
