Three Key Accomplishments
• Business Process Leader to automate reporting for faster insights; saving 1000 hours for category managers yearly – a game changer for manufacturers.
• Selected a working data platform out of five vendors, which supports the main need of the sponsoring group. The tool was budgeted for $55,000 for the first year with annual maintenance of $8,000 per year which was competitive against $450,000-$500,000 proposals. This results in invaluable savings as the selected platform is paving the way to bring in analytic projects without redundancy.
• Developed an internal process in data gathering from the third data supplier, which allows the company to have similar access, rather than purchasing the same data from the provider. This is saving the company a guaranteed cost of $25,000 per year.

• Created Macros in Access to export data sets in Excel as well as CSV and text files from EDI uploads.
• Performed mass updates in Microsoft Access (change, update, delete, append queries) in building hierarchies, categories, segments, price points, and other business information requirements.
• Developed Excel Pivot Tables from Access, ODBC connections and OLAP cubes to maintain consistency thus minimizing errors. Uploaded the compiled reports on Sharepoint site for front-end analysis and distribution to shareholders.
• Managed the ad-hoc request post-distribution from different business functions in forms of graphs, reports, existing Excel templates, complex calculations, PowerPoint presentations, and analysis using mainly data on Excel Pivot Tables.
