Brief Description of projects:

FST - FBA Free Shipping Threshold is an introduction of minimum purchase amount per order for customers to qualify for free standard delivery. FBA orders above Rs.499 are shipped for free and that below Rs.499 are charged shipping cost Rs.40.

Easy Ship Prioritization – Easy ship prioritization is introduced to prioritize shipping cost of customers coming from easy ship enables ship regions instead of MFN enables ship regions. No matter customer from which ship region, with easy ship enabled customer has to be prioritized to easy ship shipping charge.

AUI Authportal Templates – AUI authportal templates are the new templates introduced for Sign in and Sign up pages which will help the customers to act over the UI links and fields on these pages more conveniently than the older UI template pages. This new AUI template was introduced on mobile web to be in sync with mobile app sign-in or sign-up pages.

Autoscoping – Autoscoping was launched to support data quality for the keyword to browse node which redirects to particular node. Intent of Autoscoping is to correct the anomalies in the data–cases where search results were redirecting customers to the wrong browse node.

Interstitial (Phase 1 & 2) – Interstitial or banner was introduced with the intent to attract customers to download amazon mobile app. 1st phase of this project displayed a banner on Deal’s page which let the customers to download shopping app from the link provided in that banner. 2nd phase included the banner to be dynamic and displayed on all the pages of www.amazon.in from gateway page to SPC page.

Amazon 111 – www.amazon.in becomes first e-commerce player to launch early morning delivery service to 10 cities, customers can place orders till 1 a.m. post-midnight and receive delivery by 11 a.m. in the morning. The Amazon 111 delivery is available for a flat charge of Rs.111 per order regardless of the number of items ordered with the service. If customers place an order after 1 a.m. till 11 a.m. in the morning in these same cities, customers can also choose Amazon 111 Delivery to get their orders delivered the same evening.
