Manufacturing Supervisor (High Risk/Short Expiry

Products), Del Monte Foods, U.A.E FZE.

Responsible for supervision and execution of production activities for Ultra Fresh Pasteurized Juice Section, Fresh Unpasteurized juice section, Lettuce Section and Fresh Cuts Section (Fresh fruit and vegetable salads), averaging around 80ton production per day.

Responsible for Daily production planning and scheduling of all lines based on the sales orders forecasted.

Responsible to ensure all products are maintained in proper temperature controlled zones (4 degree) and minimal spoilage of the SFG/W.I.P RM’s due to temperature abuse.

Monitor, control, motivate and train a team of 100+ members, involving 3 shift supervisors, operators, team leaders and production crew.

Allocate manpower line vise for each section based on standard allocation and either reduce (or) increase the workforce based on production load in consultation with production manager.

Generate the production efficiency report for the day and Product yield report for all sections including breakdown details.

Monitor and minimize breakdown time and ensure cycle time and production targets are achieved.

Ensure all operations are executed as per the S.O.P and deviations if any to be recorded and communicated with all concerned.

Monitor and verify the effectiveness of C.I.P(Clean in place) for the Ultra Fresh Juice line.

Co-ordinate with RM Warehouse for issuance of Raw material and packing material for production and also for return of material balances. Co-ordinate with FG

warehouse, logistics and dispatch team to hand over FG from production.

Co-ordinate with the engineering team for all issues pertaining to daily breakdown and preventive maintenance schedule of machines.

Liaising with QAHSE team for daily quality and other HSE issues.

Raise PR’s for non-inventory items and production consumables based on average consumptions.

Ensure all C.C.P records, reports on production outputs, online checklists and inspection records are periodically updated and submitted by shift end by Shift supervisors.

Involved in NPD, Machine trials and installation, wastage reduction programs and cost saving drives.

Shop Floor Management –Involving effective supervision of workforce, ensuring co-ordination between inter departments. on floor and making sure target for the day is met with maximum efficiency and Superior Quality

Involved in Production planning, scheduling and execution of Around 200+ SKU’s and Key involvement in Master Production Schedule (M.P.S) and Material Requirements Planning (M.R.P).

Sales Order receiving and execution and identify Production modifications based on customer requirement.

Responsible to manage, motivate and control a team of 60+ workers and ensure Co-ordination among all Sub- Departments in Production.

Generate shift vise Production Schedule and derive material requirement for the day, 48hrs in advance thus ensuring sufficient Lead time for bringing in Raw and Packing material for production from external warehouses.

To ensure Good Quality production whilst keeping all lead times to minimal and with maximum utilization of all Resources.

Responsible for Preparation of S.O.P’S(Standard Operating Procedures) for Processing of each SKU. Constituting the ingredient ratio’s and methods of Processing.

Generate and analyze the Overall Equipment Efficiency

(O.E.E) for the Shift.

Part of F.S.M.S(Food Safety Management System)team and key involvement in ISO 22000 and Halal Audit and part of the New Product Development(N.P.D) team.

Key Achievements at AL-Homaizi Food Industries

Framed a Monthly, Weekly and Firmed daily production plan as a reference and guide way for all concerned Departments, Team leaders for achieving the Months/Weeks/Days target production. This was done based on Analysis of Average Stock Movements to Customers and thus combining the forecasted figure.

Developed a well formed checklist for the Packing machine to help guide the operators check all aspects before production and thus avoiding any possible errors before Bulk Production.

Developed an Hourly operator log report to help understand hourly production output versus the downtime reasons at machine.

Formulated an Overall Equipment Efficiency Report for analysis of daily machine efficiency.

Succeeded in bagging the order for Walmart by facilitating and preparing all necessary documentation and requisites for Audit Conducted by Walmart(Retail Chain)
