Rate Vs Power Control in different Wireless Technologies
With some communication technologies, like IS-95, CDMA 2000 and LTE, evaluate Power control Vs Rate with different schemes and doppler shifts.
Environment: MATLAB
Projects in Advance Embedded Micro Controller
1.RTOS System with PIC
Design of Cooperative and Preemptive Real Time Operating System for PIC 33FJ128MC802 with yielding, sleep, signaling and semaphores and system timer interrupt.
Environment: MPLAB
2.ARM Ethernet Stack
Design Ethernet stack code for 33FJ128MC802 to M4F Processor using APIs of TI
We also include the support for IP, ARP massage type processing and develop UDP, TCP and finally telnet application.
Environment: CCS 5.4.0
Design PPM-TH-UWB Physical Layer system
Developed a model which helps evaluating the performance of different physical layers.
Compared performance and behavior of Physical Layer Simulation system with three different RAKE receivers.
Environment: MATLAB
Design Controller and Device for asynchronous communication Interface
Implemented communication using DMX 512A protocol between Controller and Device nodes.
PC transmitter will accept commands from a PC via an RS-232 interface and continuously transmits a serial stream to control up to 512 devices on a RS-485 communication bus (DMX protocol).
Devices on the bus will extract information out of data stream and will control one or more devices (using Poll). They will also send an acknowledgement to the controller when requested (using LED).
Environment: C/C++, MPLAB
Network Traffic Capture and Analysis using Wireshark
Analyzed the sequence of messages as a packet capture file using Wireshark when the host tries to connect to the Internet via WiFi, opens any webpage, open a video etc. and analyzed the DNS queries, TCP messages, IP communication and all other OSI Layer details up to the Application Layer.
Performed detailed analysis of TCP Establishment and Teardown Process, window size, TCP Sequencing and Acknowledgement numbers, error discovery and recovery processes, different TCP Flags and its specific use.
Environment: Wireshark.
SDRAM controller to interface MT48LC4M16A2 SDRAM with 80386DX
Designed the SRAM Controller with the State diagrams, row, column, bank signal generation, data masking, data flow, ready logic, refresh support.
Optimized the Project Design to minimize the processor waiting time for refresh and auto-refresh functions.
Performance Analysis of Communication Channels
Simulated the Probability of Symbol Error with different symbol detection and some equalizing techniques by applying multiple Test-cases.
Environment: MATLAB.
MIMO Simulation Study in Wireless Communication
Simulated symbol error rate to Signal-to-Noise Ratio by plotting a graph.
Tested Multiple Antenna Systems (Multiple Input Multiple Output-MIMO) give significant enhancement to data rate and channel capacity.
Calculated the symbol error rate from which we concluded that the Wireless Systems can be improved.
Environment: MATLAB.
