PROFILE
I am an experienced Senior Stress/Structures Engineer who is experienced in manual and computer aided Stressing techniques, production estimating, project estimating, pricing, production and assembly of Aircraft and Ship sub-assemblies and I also have knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques. I am used to working within a team, in a fast moving design/production environment and I am also very computer literate. My aim is to work in a professional company where I can use my experience and expertise to help improve the company's business.

My duties also included compiling and validating/signing off Design Office Memorandums for Nimrod repairs & Repair Instruction Sheets for VC10 repairs from various sub-contractors and answering Requests for Design Advice from RAF bases at St Athan, Brize Norton and Kinloss. In this role I was an official stress signatory for BAE Systems, Chadderton Design Authority Aircraft, namely VC10 & Nimrod aircraft.

In addition to the tasks performed by an Estimating Engineer, involvement in the preparation of cost estimates for modifications to various aircraft to supply to our prime customer, the Ministry of Defence. To discuss, negotiate and agree our estimates with the M.O.D. Software used was Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Lotus Notes.
