Taylor-Wharton designs and manufacturers a comprehensive range of stationary bulk and portable cryogenic storage systems for gas and liquid applications. The company, which traces its roots to 1742, operates manufacturing and warehouse facilities in the United States, Malaysia, China, Slovak Republic, Germany, and Australia. The company’s product line includes cryogenic bulk tanks, micro-bulk tanks, transportable liquid cylinders, LNG (liquefied natural gas) storage and application systems, cryogenic beverage carbonation vessels, and freezers and dewars for cryopreservation.

Director Human Resources. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and dotted line to Vice President Human Resources. Provide consultative HR leadership to develop and implement key HR initiatives that align with the overall Company strategies and it’s 650+ employees. Manage and direct a team of three direct reports and three dotted-line reports.

Responsibilities:

Business Partner with executive team and local management; include coordinating strategic HR planning for the Theodore plant on all HR related matters and programs.

Work with Leadership Team to drive a culture of performance, results and positive employee relations through manager/supervisor/employee accountability, alignment of employee skills and cross-training.

Manage plant safety – achieved 0.57 rate for 2014 -best safety performance in the history of the site.

Engage and partner with Leadership to develop staffing strategies to ensure a robust pipeline of quality candidates.

Global HR responsibilities include Beijing China, Malaysia, Husum Germany, Slovakia and Australia. Lead Global HR team in the roll-out of Corporate policies, procedures, and processes.

Coach managers and supervisors on policies, procedures and labor agreement.
