Plant Manager

Reporting to VP of Operations, managed Southwest manufacturing facility that provided LEAN integrated source-to-shelf supply chain solutions to leading food and beverage companies. Responsible for full P&L responsibilities of $56M facility. Direct reports 5, indirect reports 30, and 200 employees.

Led comprehensive rebuilding strategy after facility lost 85% of tenured personnel driving 40% service level improvement, 20% Operational efficiency improvement while lowering inventory levels by $1.8M.

Directed environmental, health and safety initiatives, resulting in closure of existing OSHA claim and successful recertification by accreditation agencies.

LANDAUER INC., Glenview, Illinois 2007 to 2014

Director of Operations

Directed all Operational aspects of business with full P&L responsibility for $128M Radiation Measurement division that manufactured various types of radiation detection monitors, the distribution and collection to and from customers and the analysis and reporting of exposure findings. Implemented ERP system successfully while maintaining current all recurring dosimetry customers.

Initiated facility’s LEAN 5S program, generating savings of $1.75M.

Established yearly self-funding initiatives within each department to offset 5% yearly raise targets.
