1. Project Title “Metal detector"
Introduction
Metal detector is very common devices for checking the person in shopping malls, hotels, cinemahalls to ensure that person is not carrying any explosive metals or illegal things like guns, bombs etc.It works on the principleLenz's law of electromagnetism.
Summary
This metal detector can be used to detect slightly big size metallic objects. It used a sensing coil. Thiscoil should be kept near metallic objects for detection. Input of circuit is a weaKcolpitt’sR.F.rangeoscillator.Sensing coil forms parts of tuned oscillator.When a coil is brought near a metallic object magnetic energy is absorbed and oscillator fails to work .Then final transistor conduct and buzzer is activated.Afterconnecting a battery,adjusted the 5k preset till circuit is stop sounding.
2.Project Title “Traffic light controller”
Introduction
Vehicular traffic at intersecting streets are typically controlled by traffic controlled lights.The function of traffic lights requires sophisticated control and coordination to essure that the traffic moves as smoothly and safely as possible.
Summary
ThisProject use simple electronic components such as LED as “traffic light indicator”and a microcontroller for auto change of signal after a prespecified time interval .Microcontroller 8051 is the brain of the project which controls the whole working .the LED’s are automatically on and off by making the corresponding port pin high.At a particular instant only one LED will glow and other will remain off.
