MAINTENANCE PLC PROGRAMMER

PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY

Over thirty years of hands on experience in maintenance and trouble shooting

plastic injection molding machines i.e. Toshiba, Cincinnati, Van Dorn, Stokes,

Husky, Mitsubishi varying from 50 tons to 1000 tons capacity, CNC i.e. Amada,

punch presses, Spot welding machines, High speed automatic packaging

machines i.e. Shrink Wrap/sealing, bagging and special purpose/custom

designed machines.

For the last year and a half, have been working at Letica Incorporate on Steeda

Drive, Valdosta, Ga. 31602. A High Volume Container Company as Maintenance

Manager. worked For Zenith as Maintenance Supervisor, before that had worked as contractor for Zenith and Designed and Built Automation Machines for them. was also Lead person in Maintenance there for 13 years. Have experienced in Heisler Bailers, Polymac Bailer, Husky Machines, my other duties were training employees on how to diagnosis machines and how and what to look for and listen on how the machines run. Dealt with contracting other duties were dealing with Contracting, scheduling PMs and supervise maintenance. It is a hands on job I don’t mind working long hours to keep things running.

Worked on all types Machines from ground up and have made Safety, operation and repair Manuals for machines. Training personal how to operate and work on machines safely.

I am a well round person and don’t mind getting my hands dirty and have worked with and trained some of the best Maintenance personal around.

shift the lights and air would automatically shut down until the next morning.

Maintenance Manager, scheduled all PMs for machines, train employees

on how to work on equipment and monitor employees skill levels to help them

improve. Other duties were training employees on how to diagnosis machines

dealt with contractors on special equipment.

In charge all building maintenance and machine maintenance and supervise

all technicians.

Ordering parts for machines and control inventory. Have daily meetings with

employees on machine safety and duties for the day. Was on call 24 hours a day,

7 days a week, so if there are any problems we communicate back and forth.

One of the things that is important is having communication skills between employees

and managers.

Maintenance - Supporting four major production/assembly departments

Covering 500,000sq.ft. including nineteen injection molding machines, three CNC/turret presses,

punch presses, automatic packaging machines, Automated wood working equipment’s, four

power saws, tiger stops, frame cutting machines and various special purpose machines. Written

and design in auto cad and just recently Solid Works. If you have a idea about something, Can

design, Build and Wright the software for whatever you needed. Trained Employees and over

seen all Maintenance. Other experiences are weld arc, mig, and gas. Read blue prints, trouble

shoot machines, etc.

2001 to 2013 Contractor Service Tech

My main account was Zenith, working with Tony Morrite (Maintenance Manager). Designed and built them 2 new High speed automated machines for assembly of shower rods, reprogrammed light system –so you would not need a computer on line to operate system, made self contained. This system saved Zenith over 70 thousand a year. Reprogrammed Monitoring system, in the plastics department for new Machines. Both Monitoring and Lighting system Were my Designs.

1990 to 2001 Maintenance Technician (Lead Person)

Responsibilities was to Program PLCs, Repair, Design Machines. Trained personal

on equipment. Did PMs on all types of equipment, including injection molding machines and automation. Worked on powder coating paint line, CNC torrent presses, automated wood cutting equipment, conveyor, robot arms, high speed packaging machines, Was the main tech for Zenith. on all their equipment electrical, hydraulics, PLCs, pneumatics.
