Started with the company as an assembler in the Metals Department. After a year and a half moved up to Line Leader of 10 to 15 employee’s on days in the Metals department. When asked by management was moved from different departments and shifts to help with the company’s needs over the years which resulted in having worked in all the departments within the plant. Was forklift certified with company on electric, propane, and stand-up fork lifts. Did shipping and receiving on off shifts when needed. Became a Cell Leader of the Midnight Shift with the responsibilities of managing 1-2 subordinate supervisors who supervise a total of 25 to 30 employees throughout the shop. Was responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carried out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organization’s policies and applicable laws. My responsibilities included interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance reviews; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. To help work on the floor in the different departments when needed.
