“ Challenges Facing Small and Medium Enterprises in Accessing Credit: A Case
Study of Kakamega Town, Kenya. Expected June 2016
The dissertation consolidates previous research and provides an indepth
understanding of the constraints facing Kenya small and medium enterprise
(SME) owners in accessing credit from formal financial institutions. The case
study provides an insight of the strategies some Kenya SME business owners
use to access credit to sustain company profitability and growth.
