Quality

Responsible for all second shift operations to include fabrication, spot welding, stamping department and welding when production dictates these departments require second shift production.

Fabrication Manager responsible for a two shift operation with three lasers ranging from 3500 Watt to 5000 watt fiber optic and a six shelf tower unit and nine hydraulic press brakes ranging in size from forty tons to two hundred and thirty ton units and a 30 ton Weideman Turret Press. All having NC and off-line programming capability.

I supervised the tool room and press room for a technical ceramic manufacturer located in Monroe, NC. I was responsible for the day to day production of press room and tool room to meet customer needs.

I supervised of high volume stamping department with daily production from 625,000 to 1,250,000 components daily. This included all operational aspects of the stamping process, safety, quality and training of new employees.
I supervised the operations of an automated manufacturing and assembly plant, responsible for the machining processes as well as the operations of the assembly line. This included working closely with maintenance and engineering support to maintain delivery to a major automotive manufacturer as a tier one supplier.
