Project Engineer – Atlas Copco, Inc.

Project engineer responsible for concept, vendor line up, CAD design facilitation, Releases for fabrication, Customer & internal design review, run off, build shop follow up, project management support, and sales support, full production implementation. Projects include various fastening and torque tools for interior and exterior automotive parts for Ford, Visteon, GM, Chrysler, BMW, and Mercedes, as well as non-automotive parts for Catterpillar,GE, Husky, Rheem, Etc.

Contract Mechanical/Manufacturing Design Engineer – The Productivity Team, LLC.

Current projects include:

6 month contract for Ford Motor Co. as Industrial engineer at Michigan Assembly Plant mid-cycle launch of Focus and C-Max. Responsibilities include MODapts time study, kitting studies, material flow and plant layout.

3 month contract for Ford Motor Co. as quality engineer at Michigan Assembly Plant investigating warrantee claims for Focus and C-Max.

6 month contract for Chrysler Corp. as Project Management of Line side Limo Project Management, design and build for the Jeep KL Launch at Toledo Assembly North.

2 month contract for Chrysler Corp. as BIW Facilities & Equipment Lead for the Jeep KL Launch at Toledo Assembly North.

17 month contract for Johnson Controls working as an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer. Responsibilities included plant layout design, process development, material flow, manning, MODapts studies, ODS development, and PFMEA. Extensive use of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and AutoCAD.

Programs included Ford, Nissan, Toyota, KIA, GM and Chrysler.

6 month contract for Navistar Engine Group in Huntsville, AL. Responsibilities include concept, design, fabrication follow up, run off, and production implementation of Error Proofing tools for the Caterpillar 15L engine assembly line. Extensive experience with AutoCAD.

Project engineer responsible for robotic tooling to unload injection molds and secondary equipment. Responsibilities included quoting, CAD design, fabrication, run off, full production implementation, build shop management, project management, and sales support. Projects include various Robot Tools for interior and exterior automotive molded parts for Ford, Visteon, GM, Chrysler, BMW, and Mercedes, as well as non-automotive parts for GE, Husky, Nokia, Etc.
