I am a personable leader; comfortably interact with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
Following retirement, I furthered my investigative experience with the Office of the Inspector General. For the past three years, I delved into the hospitality field and served as an investigator for the Boca Raton Resort & Club, Boca Raton, Florida and Director of Security for the Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty Six, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. My responsibilities in the latter included supervision of the Security Team; protection and security of the Hotel’s infrastructure, 129 slip yacht marina, guests, visitors and employees. My duties included knowledge, maintenance and inspection of the fire panel; training with regards to emergency responses to include evacuation and staging; or whether medical or police related incidents. I was also responsible for the implementation of AED units throughout the facility, as well as upgrading of the CCTV camera/surveillance system. I served as liaison for emergency management response as it relates to hurricanes and met with local hoteliers, law-enforcement and fire-rescue officials to coordinate response and community evacuation of the barrier islands.
I have a total of 8 years of combined dignitary protection while serving in the military, in law enforcement, as well as in the hospitality sector. I am physically fit, am familiar with the dynamics, confidentiality, and drive it takes to give 100% level of commitment for this type of work. I work very well under high duress conditions.
I am approachable, a team player, with a high expectation of work ethics and integrity standards. Strong decision-making skills and equitable, I also work well multitasking and proficiently while accomplishing any task at hand.
