EXPERIENCE:

October 27th, 2014 to October 27th, 2015 Mammography Technologist/ Travel Assignment, One Staff Medical Solutions .I was the Lead Mammographer at Hancock Medical Center, Bay St. Louis, MS.

My duties include the FDA and ACR three year Inspection for this facility and ACR Medical Audit. I worked very proficiently with seventeen Radiologist performing Screening and Diagnostic exams on a Hologic Lorad Selenia Unit. My computer skills involved Synapse, CPSI and Fugi Pacs Systems. I was also in charge of training new personnel. I worked with staff Surgeons and Radiologist assisting with Needle Localizations and Stereotactic Biopsies.

My travel assignment is ending October 27th, 2015

February 2, 2009 to October 1st 2014: Radiology Mammography Technologist- Sonora Regional Medical Center, Adventist Health Care, Sonora, CA. My duties included helping develop and write the policy and procedure manuals for our new breast center “The Breast Center for Health”. I work closely with staff Radiologist and the Nurse Navigator to ease our patient’s fears and perform quality Diagnostic Mammograms, Stereotactic Biopsies, Needle Localizations and Ductograms. I Assisted with ACR and FDA inspections, maintaining all Quality Control and Quality Assurance records according to MQSA standards. I have assisted in training Staff Technologist and Radiologist on our new GE Senographe Stereotaxy add on unit. I was in charge of checking inventory and ordering supplies for the Mammography suite. I am very proficient in using Cerner workstation software and GE PAC, s. I have also worked in Diagnostic Imaging and CT when there was a need for staffing.

October 2008-February 2009: Travel Radiology Mammography Technologist-Medical Contracting Inc. Dallas, TX. Travel Facility Sonora Regional Medical Center, Adventist Health, My duties included performing Screening and Diagnostic breast exams, Needle Localizations, Stereotactic Breast Biopsies and Quality Control and Assurance in both Digital and Analog Equipment.

April 2002- March 2007: Travel Radiology Mammography Technologist Resources On Call, Hickory, NC, Travel Facility---St Joseph Hospital and the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Denver,CO. My duties as a travel Technologist included performing screening Mammograms on a mobile unit throughout the seventeen counties in the metro Denver, CO area. This was a Christian outreach program for indigent women, allowing them to afford low cost Mammograms. I was in charge of all Quality Control and Quality Assurance and was instrumental in helping St. Joseph’s Hospital pass their first MQSA/FDA inspection.

July 1998- March 2002: Special Procedures Technologist West Florida Medical Center. 8333 N. Davis Hwy, Pensacola, Fl 32514, My duties included all aspects of Interventional Radiology, I assisted the Radiologist as a scrub technologist during such procedures as Arteriogram, venograms, fistula grams, paracentesis, thoracentesis, insertion and removal of implantable devices. During this period of time I also worked for the West Florida Mobile Mammography Unit and the Mammography Center at West Florida Medical Center

September 1991- July 1998: Lead Mammography Technologist, West Florida Medical Center, 8333 N. Davis Hwy, Pensacola, Fl 32514. My duties and various responsibilities include helping develop the Policy and Procedure Manuals for this Mobile Mammography Program. This was a screening outreach program developed to target indigent women and industrial workers, who were unable to take leave of their jobs to have a screening study. I was in charge of staffing and training of all personnel. I maintained and managed all Quality Control and Quality Assurance records according to MQSA guidelines.
