Resume:

Hello, I’m Ralph, and am applying for an opening at your facility. As many are these days, I’m seeking full-time employment, so I’m trying a new introduction.

My degree is in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Southern Polytechnic State University, with a minor in Computer Science Technology. I worked in plastics processing and machinery manufacturing professionally before I diverted into self-employment. The economy crashed, I’m older and wiser, and felt the need to return to my professional field, bringing all the skills and knowledge learned during my years with me. While pursuing a reconnection, I’ve accepted short term assignments in various environments and find that most companies are operating at 75-80% production efficiency and are either throwing money straight away, or not making as much as they could, both for various reasons. Your company is probably somewhere in that range as well.

This is why you need me. My resume lists the highlights of my career, without embellishment or exaggeration. I am applying to your corporation for this position because I’m very capable and it is a close if not a perfect fit. I work at a high level, and bring a plant manager view to all my work, which I will bring to your facility. These days it takes this view of efficiency, cost controls and consciousness, globalization, and pride of work to remain competitive in these changing, trying times.

You need me, and I know it. Once I’m working for you, you will wonder how you made it without me. Don’t let your competitors get me first. Offer me a short or long term, permanent or contract position, and let’s maintain your competitiveness, or leave the competition in the dust. Contact me at 770-***-****, or at ***********@*****.***.
