WORK EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION

As a Civil Structural Designer I used AutoCAD 2D & 3D in designing concrete pads for tanks, piles supports for buildings, steel supports for pipes used in oil sands refinery. I designed also together with civil engineers steel connections, electrical supports, beams, columns and steel structures buildings used to hold all the pumps, ventilators, valves, pipes, heaters and different equipments. Also I designed buildings used to hold pumps, ventilators, pipes and electrical equipments, concrete foundations for the steel building modules, storage tanks and heavy structures witch need strong supports. Mathematical calculation was involved. I had to create 3D models from client sketches.

I was dealing with mechanical, electrical and piping department in order to deliver all the drawings on time.

I had to attend meetings together with my engineering manager, lead engineer and the client to make modifications requested. The software used was Navisworks.

After the 3D model was approved I had to create 2D drawings with all the views and sections according to the industry standards.

Self checking of the drawings was mandatory.

As a Mechanical Designer I used AutoCAD 2D & 3D for coiled tubing system injector units. Coiled tubing control cabins offshore equipment with steel panel for easy access to the controls to activate all hydraulics. I had to create CNC codes for cutting steel plates, steel panels etc.

I designed access stairs and handrails used to enter the control cabin. Also I worked with a team of designers for heat recovery nitrogen pumping units. I designed also tanks to store oil used in hydraulic circuits and pumps. I designed and positioned with my colleagues all the equipments on the trailers platform used in oilfield.

I designed also steel toolboxes, steel cages for cryogenic connections all steel parts used to help workers in a safety manner from start to finish product delivered to clients in USA, Canada and China.
