Thermal CFD Engineer with 2.10 years of industrial experience in design and analysis of mechanical, automotive and aero components with effective application of CAD and CFD skills to validate and optimize the design. Alongside with this, working as CFD Trainer and Research Associate for Technology Training and Research Centre, Bangalore.
WORK EXPERIENCE(2.10 YEARS):
1.Working as "Thermal Engineer-CFD/FEA" at “Airframe Aerodesigns Private Limited” from Sep 2013 to till date
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Requirement gathering, client meetings and project finalizing.
Literature review for the proposed model.
Analytical calculation prior to analysis using theory of fluid and heat transfer and use of industry standards like ASME, TEMA etc.
Effective use of MS Excel, MS Word and Power point tools.
Model creation in CAD tool like CATIA/Design Modeller.
Geometry clean up using ICEM Geometry clean up and Ansys DM geometry cleanup techniques.
Hexahedron, tetrahedron, hybrid mesh generation using ICEM CFD Blocking and tetra mesh generation techniques and also meshing using Ansys Mesher.
Flow, Heat transfer, CHT, Multiphase, FSI, DPM, Melting/solidification, Combustion analysis using Ansys Fluent and CFX solver.
Static structural and steady state thermal analysis for prediction of stress, strain, deformation etc.
Deciding the CFD models, Preparing a check list, profiles for multiple analysis.
Parametric study for product optimization using Ansys Parametric modelling.
Post-processing and report preparation as per industry standards.
