My objective is enter the labor market by applying acquired knowledge and skills, developing my career in different áreas. I have acquired knowledge of stainless steel, high, low and medium carbon melting and refining as well as a solid knowledge of hot rolling, casting and refining of this kind of steels. I also have experience in the quality and supervising process areas. I am fluent in Spanish and English.

WORK EXPERIENCE

NOV TUBOSCOPE

Mill surveillance / Quality Control Inspector October 2014 – October 2015

Supervise the production processes of steel pipes and tubes, identify irregularities and report them to the customer.

Make recommendations on the processes to improve quality and reduce rejects.

As a monitor I’ve been working with customers like Shell Oil Company, Kuwait Oil Company, Saudi Aramco, Virginia Oil and Gas LP, etc. Monitoring and supervising about 54000 mts of casing pipe, tubing and line.

Also monitoring couplings and other accessories. All these materials must be monitoring from de EAF to the last process where the material it’s being worked.

TYASA

Quantum Electric Arc Furnace Operator June 2014 – October 2014

Main EAF operator and responsible for the production 1500 metric tons per 12 hour shift.

Leader of a crew of 6 operators. Manage and track consumptions, yield, electrodes, additives, etc.

Produce daily reports for Management. Track delays and find solutions to reduce them, etc.

I took courses about Mill surveillance and monitoring activities in the steel plant. As a metallurgist my profile was accurate to get the job. I took courses about steel production and all the processes inside the steel plant Tenaris Tamsa.

Administrative Assistant February 2010 – June 2014 While attending Engineering School I worked as an assistant in a medical clinic. Take record about the number of patients that go to the clinic and management of the cash, pay bills and building maintenance.
