Worked alongside maintenance and outside contractors to implement new machinery and company growth. Authored the Employee Hand Book, GMP standards, HACCP plan, MSS Booklet, and Company Mission Statement. Managed Three Shifts of Production as well as each Shift Supervisor and Maintenance Crews. Tyson Foods – Management Internship – Wilkesboro, NC

Worked as a Supervisor/Operations Associate. Was trained at every position in the plant from the receiving to packing. Learned how to operate as well as maintenance most machines in the food processing industry. Worked alongside plant management to identify inefficiencies and was required to lead individuals and make decisions on a daily basis during internship.

Boy Scouts of America – Eagle Scout – Troy, NC: Earned Eagle Scout honors at the age of 17 after more than 10 years of dedication to the organization.

Philmont Scout Ranch – Assistant Crew Leader – Philmont, NM: Served as a leader on a 10 day, 100+ mile wilderness backpacking trip. Given decision making power for a group of 12 hikers throughout the unguided expedition.

Recipient of the United States Army Scholar Athlete Award: Awarded to one male per school for demonstrating outstanding academic and athletic achievements. Was also one of two candidates for the Park Scholarship – 2008
