Successfully delivered and fielded 57 direction finding systems to Forces Command training sites throughout the USA. Core Duties & Responsibilities:
Directed mission readiness training for 200+ combat aircrew on Air Force’s (AF) primary Electronic Attack (EA) weapons system.
Principal conduit for all realistic training requirements and weapons and tactics issues for 55th Electronic Combat Group (ECG).
Deployed Operations officer for initial combat deployment of EC-130H Compass Call in support of the Global War on Terror. Led 50 personnel during combat operations in Afghanistan for 4 months. Responsible for planning and executing EW support at the tactical level to include advanced technology capabilities supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
Branch Chief HQ Air Combat Command Special Technical Operations (STO) office. Responsible for management and oversight of special access programs for Air Combat Command. Responsible for all special access program security requirements in conjunction with the Joint Staff. 2004 Action Officer of the Year (#1 field grade officer in Directorate of Operations).
Chief, Non-lethal Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses (SEAD) and Functional Area Manager for EC-130H. Responsible for all operational issues for ACC EW assets, primarily the EC-130H and USAF EA-6B. Joint Operations Center liaison to JTF 714, Bagram airfield supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. Responsible for combat employment of EC-130H in support of Special Operations forces and JTF-82 conventional operations.
Initial cadre for Joint Aviation Electronic Warfare School. Responsible for academic and simulator instruction of prospective Electronic Warfare officers from all services. Conducted classroom academics, signals trainers and flight simulations. Responsible for evaluations of fellow instructors. Developed and implemented a joint EW training syllabus from scratch.
