PURPOSE:
To assist in operating the MMG 15500 Nm /hr Air Separation Plant and 5000 Nm /hr Nitrogen Liquefaction Plant at high efficiency, to produce liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen and liquid argon at acceptable quality. To maintain plant machines and equipment in good operating conditions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. Plant Operation
To assist the local and Delta-V operation of the Air Separation Plant and Nitrogen Liquefier Plant which includes air compressor, refrigeration unit, dyer, nitrogen compressor, expansion turbine, heat exchangers, argon compressor, rectifying column and cooling water system.
Review historical list of report and alarms turned-over by outgoing operator and make some necessary adjustments for abnormality logged found.
Record machines performance and adjustment undertaken in the log sheet / logbook
Charge and record charging of cylinder and bulk containers.
Weighing of incoming and outgoing bulk deliveries.
Report to Production Manager / Shift Supervisor any plant operation abnormalities, corrective actions and adjustment made during shift.
Perform in-process and finished product testing.
Assist Shift Supervisor plant start-up and plant shutdown
B. Plant Monitoring and Maintenance

Perform magnetic particle testing, penetrant testing, ultrasonic testing in accordance with the standard and the result shall be reported to the NDT level III.
In charge of all records of all indications of discontinuities which exceed acceptance criteria.
In charge of all testing conditions and results.
Responsible for the calibration of NDT instruments/gadgets with a standard to determine the accuracy.
