Date of birth: 1st June 1984
Major Breakthroughs so far:
Successfully prepared single phase PNN-PT-PZ relaxor ferroelectric and CFO ceramics in the form of bulk, thick film (tape casting) and thin films (PLD)
First to report the fabrication of PNN-PT-PZ and CFO based particulate magnetoelectric composites
First to report the fabrication of PNN-PT-PZ and CFO layered magnetoelectric composites and obtained relatively higher magnetoelectric voltage coefficient of 31 mV/cm.Oe
Successfully fabricated PNN-PT-PZ and CFO thick films using tape casting technique and magnetoelectric composites of this combination were fabricated using these
First to study electrical properties of capacitive structured Au/PNN-PT- PZ/LSCO/Ti/Pt/Si relaxor ferroelectric thin films ablated by PLD Instruments Expertise
Thin films Fabrication techniques: Pulse Laser Deposition, thermal evaporation, DC sputtering, RF sputtering, doctor blade technique
Expertise in handling instruments like broad band spectroscopy, TF analyzer, Stylus profilometer, X-ray diffraction (XRD), magnetoelectric (ME) and magnetodielectirc
(MD).
Acquainted with the techniques and expert in data analysis such as: Transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM). Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), Thermo gravimetric analysis (TGA), Vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM), superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID)
