Employee for Cincinnati Bell Information Systems consulting branch. Worked for numerous clients as a consultant. First project was at Fiat Allis where we implemented a new Purchase Order System (COBOL, ASSEMBLER, IMS DB/DC). Responsibilities included gathering requirements from the end users, creating technical specifications, coding, testing, and implementation. The project was to convert an ASSEMBLER based Purchase Order system to a COBOL, IMS DB/DC system. Worked on a project at Sears Technology to create a front-end system for the long distance phone bill reporting system (a COBOL, CICS, DB2 system utilizing QMF for reporting). The front-end system corrected, validated, and edited the U.S. Sprint billing support data. Responsibilities included producing both test and production JCL, writing program specifications, coding and testing. Test results were verified through the use of QMF.
