Printing.com (franchise of Grafenia PLC), Studio Manager, Feb 2006 – April 2007
Began with Printing.com as a Design Executive and was promoted to the management path as a result of my ability to both manage team dynamics and client relationships.
Managed a young team and led them to improve turnover and footfall. Managing client projects whilst providing innovative solutions, from initial design work to project completion.
It was also my sole responsibility to ensure client’s deadlines were always achieved whilst providing highest quality work. Providing practical advice to clients with regards to promotional ideas, implementing the A.I.D.A concept in their design and marketing to maximize their response rate.
Gurus, Multimedia Designer, Oct 2005 – Jan 2006
This dynamic role in an ever-changing design environment allowed me to combine both pace and quality of work. Designing promotional marketing for companies like Global Media, that specialize in reward schemes for Locums.
Other responsibilities included content management, updating websites such as Cafe Uno, Garfunkel’s, Frankie & Benny’s, The Concession Connection, The Restaurant Group Plc and Fashion brands such as Gieves & Hawkes. Part of the role also involved creating HTML newsletters for Haymarket Exhibitions and concepts for The Clothes Show Live & London Fashion Week.

EDUCATION
Middlesex University, BA (Hons) Visual Communication Design - Graphic Design
Sept 2002 – June 2003, Second Class, Upper Division 2:1
This degree provided me with a great insight into the design industry, where I thoroughly enjoyed combining different mediums to create a solution that conveys and communicates a message to a target audience.
Projects involved freshening up existing brands as well as to create new concepts and working on campaigns for some large companies such as the O2 Arena, British Airways, Peugeot and The London Cow Parade.
A highlight of my course was being a finalist in the National Design Competition sponsored by The Electoral Commission. The brief was to create an advertising campaign that would encourage young people to vote and have their say, through ‘Votes are us’. All finalists exhibited their work in City Hall, London, where guests included The Mayor of London.
