Deere & Company, usually known by its brand name “John Deere”, is an American corporation based in Moline, Illinois, and the leading manufacturer of agricultural machinery in the world. John Deere has around 800+ databases on different database platforms like Mongo (No-SQL), Oracle, UDB,Netezza,DB2 Z/os on around 30 servers.
Currently working with intelligent solution group of Deere on their Infrastructure side. As part of our team we support many database platforms. Streaming data platform and Agronomic decision support are two critical applications of Deere. Some of the databases like mongo have been recently migrated to AWS cloud.

The biggest JDLINK database is around 10 TB and other databases are around 600GB.Apart from this, there are several other Application system contributing and supporting Deere Production.
