An Internship Application for the post for a Deck Cadet

I am writing this application letter for purpose as mentioned above. 2. I am currently an under-graduate from Bachelor’s Degree of Nautical Science and Maritime Transportation in University Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) and expected to finish my study on February 2016. For your information, my industrial training session will be start in 14th February 2016 and it will take six (6) months as stated by the University. For this industrial training, it is crucial needed by all the students to graduate. Moreover, it will be nice if your company give me opportunities to work permanently in your company. 3. In addition, I have taken 21 courses that related to nautical studies. A part of that, my current CGPA in UMT is 3.73 and also I have a seaman card and discharge book as well as certificates of Basic Safety Training (BST), Tanker Familiarization (TF) and I will start to take Ship Security Awareness (SSA) soon which are rectify by Malaysian Marine Department . 4. For my working experience I have worked as a waiter at Pizza Hut. These experiences provide me with a valuable self-endurance and high tolerance towards surrounding people and enhance my skills in handling various situations.

5. A part from that, my active involvement in extra-curricular activities in the university has given me experience and interpersonal skills where from that I learn how to manage and work with different people around me. I am the Vice President of UMT Seafarer Club where from this position; I have developed my leadership skills through organizing event. In addition, I possess excellent written and verbal communication in English and Malay. I am certain that, with my experiences and skills that I have, it will be extremely relevant to the position as a deck cadet in your company.
