Responsible for the overall management direction and control of all company functional equipment, facility maintenance, facility setup, cleanliness, and expansion, custodial care, equipment inventory also analyze maintenance condition and coordinate necessary repair work with Operations; provide excellent support by implementing planned and routine maintenance programs which will extend the useful life of all equipment’s, facilities and prevent premature capital outlay for replacement.

Position: MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

Scheduling and implementation of system and routine preventive maintenance program for all ASCON plants/equipment and Fleet (daily/weekly/monthly/yearly). Estimate of 40 petrol filling stations nationwide, all Depot equipment, company pool vehicles and 35 truck tankers.

Provide excellent support by implementing planned and routine maintenance programs which will extend the useful life of all equipment’s and fleet and prevent premature capital outlay for replacement.

Overseeing fleet maintenance of 35 delivery trucks tankers at 40 Locations with drivers and motor boys throughout the Nation

Responsible for development and implementation of effective operations management policies.

Executes established operational goals and ensures that corporate-wide plans are complemented and supported.

Assist senior management with long term budget goals, budget projections, and Contracts.

Plan, develop, organize, direct, manage, and evaluate the operations and budget of maintenance departments.

Prepare and submit the monthly properties and facilities report including all expenditure, etc. to General Manager Operation

Recommend or authorize capital expenditures for acquisition of new equipment or property to increase efficiency and services

Responsible for the effective operations management of the Facilities/Equipment.

Coordinates and arranges third party services of maintenance contractors, suppliers, vendors etc. Deals with contractors on daily basis.

Day to day running and control of: Air conditioners, borehole & water treatment plants, generators, electrical and plumbing etc.

Manages space planning. Ensure that the building layout will accommodate present and future operational and space requirements.

Conducts periodic inspections of equipment, assesses problems and needs, and implements improvements in operations as appropriate.

Coordinates maintenance activities. Ensures that the facilities/equipment are clean, well maintained, and in good repair. Directs preventive maintenance procedure as appropriate.

Ensures that company operations are in compliance with established procedures, policies, regulations and codes as it affects maintenance.

Coordinate all property upgrades with contractors to meet Company safety requirements.

Supervise the installation and operation of equipment and facilities, field recovery and contact maintenance teams.

Through supervision, coordinates activities of workers engaged in maintaining, servicing, storing and repairing of company building, premises, automobile, generators, printer, photocopier machine, computer, diesel power generating plants, compressors, pump, oven, power product, heater, cooling and ventilation systems (including boiler system) in all department locations and factory to obtain optimal use.
