My father died in 2010, I had spoken to him on the phone the night before he died, but I had been on assignment for over 2 months, and was not expecting to return home for at least two more months. In 2011, after 26 years, my wife and I divorced, and honestly I do not blame her. During a time frame in 2007-2008, the writer was home only 15 days. I have spent the last five years, rebuilding my life or setting different priorities I guess is a better way of saying it. I had bought my father’s logging equipment from his small timber harvesting company, not long before his death, not knowing that the upkeep of the equipment had simply been neglected, when left in others hands. So after working harder over the last 4 years, than I had to work over the previous 20 years, I am now wanting or honestly having to, try to find work similar to the work that I have been blessed to do in the past. So now I hope to find a job that is a challenge not a dread and that I am able to pass on what I have learned to those willing to help me learn as well, without having to work 7 days a week 12 to 16 hours a day, week on end.

Thank you for your time.

Brian H. Garland

PLEASE NOTE;

As I have said I am not looking to work a great deal of over time, if an hour or to a week is needed, then fine, I have my mother to see to as best I can, that is why I truly hope that to be selected for this job. I have applied for other jobs at Waste management, and I do believe that you did try to contact me, but I did not find out about that until a lot later, my mother was not passing the contacts on to me as I thought she would. So please forgive me and her for not doing a better job, returning your calls. Please call me on my cell phone 423-***-****, and please leave me a message, I leave my cell in my truck most of the time when outside seeing to the place.

I am now 53 years old, and looking for a job that I can be a plus to, and can be brought up to speed, with in a very short window of time. The writer truly hopes to be given the opportunity to interview for this job.
