Seeking Organic Chemistry Opportunity
Motivated and dedicated bilingual organic chemist with 4+ years of undergraduate research experience seeking temporary employment in the field of organic chemistry. I recently spent 5 months training in the medicinal chemistry division at Array BioPharma. The fast-paced work environment required immediate mastery of aqueous workups, TLC-guided column chromatography (silica, reverse phase, chiral), purification by UHPLC, as well as precise and accurate analysis and characterization of small molecules (HPLC, LC/MS, NMR). In addition, the nature of the work necessitated thorough adherence to safe lab practices and use of PPE. I regularly prepared and presented my results and future plans to the project team. Most recently I have gained experience in biotech manufacturing at KBI BioPharma, while remaining compliant with GMP and GDP principles. Seeking to apply my experience in multi-step synthesis and instrumental analysis skills in a modern organic or analytical lab environment.
