General Motors, Southfield MI 2013 – 2014

• Part of a large data center consolidation team responsible for the insourcing of twenty-two LPARS from five different locations, Germany, Mexico, Australia, Brazil and Plano-Texas, to be installed on two IBM EC12 systems in Michigan. This action produced a savings of half a billion dollars in Managed Systems charges.

• Primary responsibility is the definition, installation and support of Z/OS systems and all ISV products. Additional responsibilities involves testing of those systems and client support.

• Primary Z/OS project manager that led a group of system programmers in the separation and movement of datacenter software and data from Peoria Illinois to Boulder Colorado for a widely known industrial corporation. Involved more than thirty ISV products that had to be upgraded or reinstalled.

• Reviewed contractual documents with stakeholders.

• Performed requirements analysis to develop scope document.
