August 2005-May 2015 Amerifund Home Mortgage, LLC ( Senior Underwriter)

As the Senior Underwriter responsibilites included opening and disclosing all new loan applications per respa guidelines. Processing and Underwriting all new loan applications with the DU and LP software. This included subprime loans as well. Approval to be sent withing 24-48 hours outlining all conditions to be met prior to closing. All post-closing functions insuring documentation was updated in accordance with my final Underwriting Decisions. Documents to be current and meet all Underwriting guidelines. Generating approval or denial letters as the file needed. On all approved files ensuring that all conditions have been met, and the file was clear to close. Responsible to ensure the Hud settlement statement was accurate prior to closing. Reviewed all appraisals and titles as well. Ensured all closed loans were complete and ready for audit if need be. Answering multi line telephones as needed. Greeting Customer and business relations as well as resolving Customer complaints as needed. Ensuring Loans closed according to final approval.

February 2002-July 2005 Home Funding Finders (Senior Underwriter)

Responsible for all functions of Underwriting, review of credit, proof of income and assets. Review of all appraisals to ensure collateral was satisfactory and met all investor criteria. Addressing with each Client questions that they had as the process moved forward, as well as overcoming any obstacles that were affecting the end result. Working with the Closing dept. to ensure all loans were scheduled to close in a timely manner. Audit previously closed Mortgage Loans when necessary.

December 2001-January 2002 Home Funding Finders ( Loan Officer)

During this time at Home Funding Finders my position was a Loan Officer for the Company. My main objective was to develop new sales relationships with local Real Estate Agents, as well as maintaining my existing base of personal referrals. To determine the best possible loan product meeting the needs of the customer, looking at all loan products available. Assiting Loan Processor with all needed documentaion to enable approvals with a 24- 48 hour turn time. Assist in the collection of outstanding documentation as needed. Attend customer closings to ensure satisfaction.

February 1997-November 2001 Source One Citi Mortgage (Territory Representative)

My job title at Source One was Territory Representative, Third Party Broker Originations Manager. I was responsible for the Originations and processing of Conventional, FHA, VA and Sonyma loans. Along with this I processed Sub Prime/Non-conforming loans. Maintaining my current client base and referral sources ensuring productivity. Worked on special projects with the District Manager regarding opening new offices for the Company. Going over with groups of potential new hires how our processes worked. Worked with Fannie Mae Desktop Underwriter as well as Loan Prospector for processing and underwriting functions. Train new loan officers as needed. Liason for Citibank special CRA products, tracking volume of business, working with our Corporate offices on work flow and providing procedures to all offices in the District.
