Sharek Services: Leading and managing the development team of 5 - 8 developers for the development of a highly complex and major KPI monitoring and Enterprise Project tracking system of more than 10,000 man-hours. Managed the customers’ high expectations, developed extremely flexible architectural designs for ensuring the full extensible corporate application vision. The number of users of the system are more than 5000 users
Real-Time Operation Center (RTOC): The system is used to manage the process of well drilling surveillance. Expert drilling engineers sit in a high-tech operation center and monitor the drilling operation via real-time systems from different vendors. The system enables the engineers to plan and initial the monitoring process, generate daily reports from real-time data coming to the center, issue alerts of different priorities if a potential problem may occur, record drilling events. The system is also used to log the shift turnovers. It maintains best practice drilling parameters data as a reference for the engineer. The system generates various KPIs and reports. The system contains a workflow module to approve and close monitoring projects.
POWERS MRC Well Preprocessor: A graphical tool which is designed to read geological data and well trajectories from user and then output user requested data in POWERS input format for simulations. It is an interactive 3D application developed using the C++ language with Coin3D toolkit and the QT framework under the Linux environment.
RTDrill: Team Lead and developer of software product for collecting data from service providers companies like Schlumberger and Halliburton on oil rigs and store it in a central database. This data is exposed to the users using a web service. The data transfer and storage is based on WITSML (Well site Information Transfer Standard Markup Language). The product is based on .NET framework 2.0. The system has web-based interface built by ASP.NET. It uses windows service technology to transfer the data from servers to the database. Besides development, I was involved in project planning and management, team leading and conducting pilot demos in Saudi Aramco and Mobilize (an American service provider company).
