*Handling of Clients: I set-up and monitored doctor appointments for injury-related treatment, organized and maintained both hard-copy and computer files, acted as a liaison between the insurance companies, the attorney and the client, compiled and submitted demand packages to insurance companies, processed settlement documents and executed settlement with clients if/when needed. attorneys in our firm were pulling our profit margin down.

*Dealings with Insurance Companies: I made report of initial claims, provided indexing information and status of treatment, coordinated Property Damage estimates and payouts, processed and completed necessary PIP and/or MedPay documents, compiled and submitted medical bills for payment and submitted final demands.

*Coordination of Lienholders: I notified, requested, reviewed and handled to completion all itemized liens in compliance with Medicaid and Medicare Government requirements, mitigated applicable lien amounts, negotiated reductions, paid reduced liens and carbon-copied clients on all payments for their personal reference.

*Assisted Attorneys: Transcribed voicemail messages and dictation, opened and filed all mail and kept attorney appraised of any important case-related issues or details for his perusal.

*General Office Support: Ran the front desk Reception area handling 17 incoming telephone lines, incoming and outgoing mail, client appointments, and trained other Assistants in office duties and protocol.

*Assisted in representing individuals to solve legal disputes caused by traffic incidents, premises negligence, product failures or other actions.

Researched property owners, both commercial and personal, through S.D.A.T. for litigation purposes. Interviewed witnesses and reviewed witness statements to determine relevance and usability. Protected the best interest of the company by mitigating spending. Answered customer queries in person, by telephone and via e-mail messages. Trained new hires for myself and my attorney.

Created and maintained new filing systems that have been adopted and have been implemented by other attorneys and their secretaries.
