McNabb Trucking - Pocatello, ID - August 2014 to November 2015 Responsibilities
Haul coal from Raft River, ID to Durkee, OR. Then loading up with limestone to bring back to a sugar factory in Paul, ID. During the winter when temps would get below 26 degrees when we arrived at the cement plant in OR we'd have to heat up the under side of the trailers with propane torches so we could get the doors open, and so we could get the coal out. Or Hauling grain from Pocatello, ID to a flour mill in Ogden, UT. From there driving to a coal mine in Scofield, UT and bringing it back to Raft River, ID. Driving teams and taking grain to UT then driving to Winnemucca, NV to a gypsum mine, loading and taking it to Durkee, OR. 3 consecutive trips. Average weight with both trailers loaded was 105,500 lbs. Accomplishments
Was never late and did not miss a day. Company could depend on me. When spring came and the roads cleared I ran 6 days a wk. Usually within 4-5 hrs of my 70 hrs. No accidents. Skills Used

Drive tractor trailer w/flatbed to transport supplies used in our work whether it be paint, thermo plastic and or ground glass. or taking our trash dumpster to the landfill. driving larger paint trucks to job locations. Making sure kettles on thermo truck were sufficiently stocked while appliying product to the road during striping process. Driving grinding truck while stripes were being removed from roadway. Operating hand grinder. Driving trucks with crash cushions while striping was going on. Applying preformed symbols such as turn arrows, bike symbols and RR crossings.
Since it was seasonal work we also did snow removal come winter time. I operated a Ford F250 with a plow on the front.

Was only 4th out of close to 70 employees with valid class A cdl. Skills Used
Other than my tractor trailer experience it was all a new experience for me. I would listen to those who knew, pay attention and learn.
