StarrStruck Gallery LLC February 2014 – Present

Project Manager

Working with celebrity artist Debi Starr, I play a key role in creating this high-end art gallery located in Clear Lake Shores, Texas. My objectives were to establish the LLC, search out the perfect location, choose and hand managed the contractors for location build-out and finally, plan and organize the grand opening. Doors were opened on-schedule for Aug 22, 2014. Act as prime for the selection of works for future exhibitions. Work with Ms. Starr on the final selection of works for future exhibits. Communicate and schedule appointments with exhibiting artists. Work with art gallery team on the execution of upcoming exhibitions and provide gallery reception during regular business hours. Act as an installation manager for the set-up and hanging of exhibitions. Act as a jury coordinator for the selection of works for future exhibitions. Work with gallery manager on the final selection of works for future exhibits. Communicate and schedule appointments with exhibiting artists. Work with art gallery team on the execution of upcoming exhibitions and provide gallery reception during regular business hours. Act as point-of-contact for the set-up and hanging of exhibitions. Monitor and keep track of supplies and the supply budget. Manage day-to-day operations. Assist in staffing gallery during business hours.

Based at the office located in Downtown Houston, work as part of a team to provide Network and Telecommunications support to campus offices as well as occasional support for 3rd party sites in Houston area. Provide skilled data network technical support for installation, configuration, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of telecommunications systems and associated equipment. Houston Independent School District (contract work) April 2012 – August 2013

Project Analyst, Central Region

Manage all Voice Communications, (VIOP and Legacy) in the Central Region consisting of 112 HISD schools and learning centers. Oversees the day-to-day activities of telecom personnel including all vendors and contractors. Daily activities include meeting with vendors and contractors to discuss Add, Move and Change request quotations, One-on-One Customer visits to facilitate feedback for improvement as well as managing the daily project constraints of Time, Schedule and Cost. Responsible for programming CISCO Call Manager and CISCO Unity VoiceMail and all VOIP hardware issues in NEW and existing schools. Credited for writing a procedure for HISD which discussed the use of the CISCO “Bulk Input” tool that resides in all CCM releases. This document has reduced the time needed to add new or big projects into CISCO Call Manager. Plans, coordinates and implements procedures received from the city of Houston’s architectural, engineering and fire departments. Facilitates training sessions to end-users on their Unified Communications equipment.

Manage Sprint PCS account encompassing the ongoing network expansion of wireless switching/radio equipment, with annual sales of $650M. Responsible for the Engineering, Manufacturing, Installation, Network Integration and Customer handover for all Sprint wireless markets in Florida, Alabama and Texas. Knowledgeable in project management practices including scope definition, managing timelines, and monitoring capital controls to ensure on-time delivery, and that all projects meet Customer’s expectations for quality and service. Create and execute up to date and accurate MS Project plans with continuous communication upward and to the Customer. Sr. Manager, Installation September 1992 – June 2000

Responsible for the deployment of all Installation activities throughout the Caribbean Region. Prime for planning, organizing, implementing and controlling all installation field activities, while maintaining high quality standards and continued CSAT improvement. Document the regions activity through the timely completion of all relative departmental forms and reports. Collaboration with Project Management and Engineering is a mandatory responsibility to foster teamwork while ensuring successful installation participation in all contracts. Additionally, supervised the Installation Technical Assistance Support facility providing technical assistance to field personnel throughout the region.

Technical Support Engineer September 1991 – September 1992

Effectively provided NT CALA's public switching customers ongoing technical support and prompt solutions to their reported problems throughout the Caribbean and Latin America region. Also in this FSE role, prime for the VO (Verification Office) of BCS33 and 34 International software loads. This consisted of interfacing with the Customer and BNR, writing actual test cases, performing ONP on site and monitoring logs to ensure a quality product was delivered.

Responsible for the quality installation and commissioning of telephone switching equipment to current specifications, using related floor plans, drawings, the latest and Installation manuals. Tasked with supervising subordinates, contractors and Telco personnel, as well as, building and testing the equipment. Responsible to control and track costs, meet quality objectives and maintain completion schedules, documenting the job’s activity through the timely completion of all relative departmental forms and reports.

NOTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Played a major role in the creation of the Installation department at Nortel CALA, and prime for the creation of the sub-departments in Puerto Rico and Colombia.

Established the Installation Technical Assistance Support in Nortel CALA. This support center was created without a functional budget utilizing leftover computer hardware and rotating field staff.

Received Nortel Presidents Award for Quality for the DMS Telephone system installed in La Paz, Bolivia.

Received Nortel Award of Merit for Outstanding Support within Field Service Engineering.

Received US Navy Achievement Medal for the outstanding operation of the Interior Communications Center on-board the USS Sacramento AOE-1.
