AF Gloenco 2008 - June 2015

Human Resource Manager

I began my career with AF Gloenco as an HR Assistant in 2005 and was promoted to HR Manager for our facility in Greenville, SC after 3 years. As HR Manager I was responsible for over 50 employees and 2 direct reports. Because of downsizing within AF Gloenco sites in 2011, I was given the added responsibility of becoming HR Manger for all three AF Gloenco sites. With this additional responsibility, it was required that I travel to both AF Gloenco sites in Newport, NH to work with and maintain employee relationships at both of these facilities at least once a quarter. Since becoming HR Manager for all of AF Gloenco facilities, I have been responsible for over 100 employees and 4 direct reports, multiple state laws and employee rights for both states. Below is a detailed outline of the requirements of my position with AF Gloenco as HR Manager:

Recruiting-

Contact staffing agency, placing ads, reviewing resumes/applications, prescreening candidates, schedule interviews, make offers, and schedule pre-employment drug/physical screening, follow EEOC guidelines in recruiting practices and as outlined in ISO9100 requirements.

New Hire Orientation-

Onboarding, ABRA entry, Nova Time transfer, Employee ID/badge, maintain employee files, job description changes/updates, Employment Eligibility Verification (I-9), Interpret/consult/advise on policies.

Benefits –

Present Open Enrollment, Benefits verification, set up enrollment into the elected benefits website for employees, manage/process FMLA/STD/LTD, track vacation/sick time availability.

Terminations-

Advise, recommend, and process terminated employees. Assist with employee disciplinary actions, unemployment claims/hearings.

AF Gloenco

HR Assistant 2005 – 2008

Answered multi-line phone system, greeted visitors. Calculate employee timesheets and enter into Nova time/QAD. Requested quotes for materials and supplies. Created purchase orders for office and production floor supplies and outside processing. Receive parts and materials into system. Scanned packing slips into ICS docs. Verify work orders are completed and close in QAD.

MBC Construction 2003 - 2005

Office Manager

Responsible for all aspects of payroll, journal entries, taxes, accounts payable, accounts receivable as required for a one person office position.

Accounts Payable-

Open mail, stamp and show date received. Matched up receipts to correct jobs to be keyed into Quick Books PRO. Print checks when due.

Maintain customer list, set up planning and budgeting for all quotes and lump sum open orders into QuickBooks PRO.

Accounts Receivable-

Receive payments, key payments into QuickBooks PRO against correct customer and job number, deposit payments into QuickBooks, and maintain 2 bank accounts and monthly reqs.

Woodland Resources, Inc. 1992 – 2003

Accounts Manager

Responsibilities included all aspects of the financial arena which encompasses Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Inventory Control. Duties included communication with customers and suppliers in resolving any discrepancies and issues. Position required organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks. Job also included handling and preparing Sales/Commission requirements for payroll department for a six person sales staff.
