Responsibilities
Since July’2011: ATC Engineering Systems (P) Ltd. Noida as a Project Engineer for Projects (Electrical & Industrial Automation)
Key Result Areas:
Executing process measurement, control instrumentation & services to monitor, record & optimize manufacturing processes, also configuring and programming various plant equipment
Handling various interlocking schemes required for automation and analyzing all drawings related to automation & control including electrical drawings
Managing overall activities pertaining to installation and commissioning of a wide range of state of art technology PLC systems and other process plants on control systems

Organization: ONGC, Mumbai
Synopsis: The system was based on controlling the ventilation and air condition of the platform. The system comprised of three units i.e. AHU Unit, Condenser Fan Unit & Compressor Unit. The System was designed to run on manual and auto modes. The communication between PLC for redundancy was carried out with Control Net and Device Net while Ethernet Module was used for the OWS (SCADA) communication with PLC.

Supervised 6 Local Control Panels and worked on around 2400 I/Os. Connected the panels through Fiber Optic Cable and made use of the Ring Topology.

The System was designed to run on manual and auto modes. There the PLC was CompactLogix L32E, and HMI 1000Plus. The communication was done through Ethernet.PID also controlled the various processes.

Synopsis: M/s Gillette had blade wrapping machines which were quite old and did not have proper documentation for electrical system. We studied the existing system and designed suitable electrical/automation system for their old machines to provide better diagnostic, safety and troubleshooting. The machines are running successfully and downtime is reduced considerably.
