BACKGROUND AND PROFILE :
After graduation from Sheridan College on April 2014, with the objective of getting some field experience, I accepted a job working for Magna International Co. as a machine operator. After working for almost a year in Magna, I was hired by Stackpole International as a Quality Control Technician. During my Magna and Stackpole appointments, I have had the chance to work in different divisions operating CNC machines; programmable and manually operated Stamping Machines, assembly processes and quality control. I trust my recent work experience added to my college education and gave me a fundamental support for my future career. Stackpole International is a premier manufacturer of oil pumps and powder metal components, and includes 12 manufacturing facilities and technical centers in North America, Europe, Asia, and Turkey. I worked as a Quality Control Technician at night shift and was responsible for the maintenance of ISO/TS 16949 systems with respect to quality assurance and control. This includes maintaining the QOS systems with respect to gauging, incoming, in process, and final inspections, identification of non-conforming materials, record retention, and ongoing system audits with respect to document control, traceability and process control.
- Perform CMM inspection on machined products in process and ensuring the parts are in spec.
- Perform contamination test on the components and assembled products.
- Perform incoming inspection audits.
- Perform dock audits to minimize the non-conforming parts before shipment.
- Perform Gauge R&R’s, calibration, and maintenance activities.
- Provide training and support to production staff on inspection procedures, gauges and SPC.
- Perform layered process audits.
- Manage containment of non-conforming materials and product.
- Perform capability analysis using basic statistical concepts.
- Ensure Quality Control documents are available at the point of use, collect and dispose of obsolete quality documents.
- Collect, review and file all content sheets and travel tags.

Promatek produces a complete range of body-in-white solutions from the smallest stamping up to fully assembled body-in-white modules such as the SMART fortwo built for Mercedes-Benz in Europe and the Ford Fusion. Lead Designer - SHERIDAN CAD-CAM PROJECT September 2012- May 2013 Sheridan College 6th Term Cad-Cam Project with Jancox Stamping Company, Brampton- Ontario Jancox Stampings requested from us to generate a strategy to increase the production rate from 50% to 100%. As a team, we built a portable, prototype of a system design that was suitable for their factory environment with the same stacking system without enlarging the working area. Personally my responsibilities in the team were;
