OBJECTIVE Position as a Technical Software Project Leader with full life-cycle support from customer requirements, hardware/software development and integration to customer deployment/signoff. SUMMARY Project leader of small teams delivering new software releases to meet customer requirements for wireless networks. As a software process engineer in an SEI Level 5 organization, I built a strong foundation of quality, metrics and rigorous process compliance. Using either a waterfall or Agile software development process, I managed every aspect of the team (locally and abroad), collaborated with adjacent teams and interfaced to upper management. I take a hands-on approach to delivering results by often testing the product myself, finding issues, and validating any new product updates. Work experience includes hardware and software integration, troubleshooting, project management plans, requirements and design documents, continuous improvement, root cause analysis, innovation, test planning and execution, customer training, field hardware and software installation, customer issue investigation, and acceptance test plans. In 2012, I was named Innovation Champion of the Year by the CTO, for leading idea generation activities, conducting idea review sessions, and presenting ideas to the business team for acceptance into the product.
For our Push-to-Talk over Broadband product, on Android and iOS devices, I certified new devices, calibrated audio levels, measured audio quality (PESQ), and measured call-setup timing using an oscilloscope.
