Estimation and Costing:

Project Management and Supervision:

Engaged in planning and preparation of project management plans for a wide range of EPC projects.

Reviewed contractor’s schedules, work programs, work method statements, milestones curves and change requests.

Monitored and supervised construction projects to ensure conformance to scope and project objectives with a view to preventing scope creep.

Reported schedule deviations in time and cost after carrying out earned value analysis in on-going projects.

Pre-qualified contractors after technical tender analysis and organized pre-bid meetings to sensitize contractors on project requirements before commercial bidding.

Carried out periodic inspection and measurement of permanent works done.

Prepared monthly project progress reports, weekly project status reports, valuation reports, change orders and advised clients on issuance of interim payment certificates to contractors.

Conducted quality control activities in accordance with instructions, inspection programs, using specified control measuring and testing equipment.

Attended meetings relating to variations and escalated project issues.

Liaised with governmental agencies and regulatory bodies on issues bordering standards, requirements and permits.

Managed communication with all project stakeholders.

Engineering Analysis and Design:

Reviewed design of roads, buildings, shore protection structures and dredging (reclamation and canalization) projects.

Carried out design calculations and prepared design reports for roads, bridges, shore protection and building structures.

Carried out computer-aided structural analysis and design of buildings using SAP 2000 and ETABS.

Coordinated field studies (geotechnical) and survey operations for roads, erosion control, shore protection and dredging projects.

Reviewed engineering drawings and structural details.
